Cemetery Garden Tours & Events

Cemetery Tours are held on the first and third Saturday each month beginning in March. History tours alternate with garden tours.Three garden areas in the Cemetery are included on various tours: Historic Rose Garden, Hamilton Square (Perennials) and the California Native Plant Demonstration Garden.

Museum Day

February 6, 2010
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Free entry to Sacramento area museums including the Cemetery.
Docents will be on site.

Volunteers are needed this winter for

Pruning in the Rose Garden

 Tuesday and Saturday mornings starting in December. (weather and roses permitting).


Bring pruners and heavy gloves.  Wear long-sleeved,  heavy clothing to protect your skin as some of these roses can be prickly.
