Deadheading At Daybreak

Meet in the Rose Garden at 7:30 a.m. for deadheading. Bring pruners and we'll provide coffee and refreshments.

You may park inside the Cemetery; all should park on the same side of a street so that working vehicles can get through.

Please park across the street from the 10th Street entrance to the Cemetery.

Donations are appreciated and go towards the restoration and preservation of roses and cemetery artifacts.





On January 18 an inspiring troup of volunteers got together to prune roses. We had a great turnout, a beautiful day, and this happy group is full of lunch.

Cemetery Garden Tours & Events

Cemetery Tours are held on the first and third Saturday each month from March through November.

History tours alternate with garden tours.

Three garden areas in the Cemetery are included on various tours: Historic Rose Garden, Hamilton Square (Perennials) and the California Native Plant Demonstration Garden.
